Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Completing planned maintenance on CT and MRI equipment at customer sites.*
- Responds by telephone to customers to their service requests.*
- Completing emergency service on equipment at customer sites. The candidate must be able to correctly troubleshoot 50% of assigned service calls without technical assistance.*
- Documents service and planned maintenance in written service reports.*
- Deinstalling equipment from medical facilities.*
- Installing equipment in medical facilities.*
- Staging equipment at NIS facility.*
- Testing and repairing equipment defects at NIS facility.*
- Performance testing and final QA of equipment prior to field installation at NIS facility.*
- Repairing and testing parts at NIS facility.*
- Documents parts repairs and service work with written service reports with quality that can be given to a customer to read. *
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Travel:
This position requires both planned and unplanned travel. Travel can be both day trips and overnight. Most travel is done via automobile but the candidate must be able to travel via airplane as well. On average the overnight travel will be 5-nights per month. The candidate must have a reliable vehicle that they can use for short trips and must be able to drive the company vehicles for longer trips. All personal vehicle mileage accrued during travel is to be reimbursed by the company.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, internet software, and contact management systems.
Education/Experience:
An associate’s degree with relevance to a technical position; and 5-years related experience and/or training in MRI and CT repair; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
- Hands on electrical and mechanical competency
- Aptitude to combine their knowledge of electronics with Network Imaging Systems product training to understand the product line
